Cub Scouts! Do Your Best! Do Your Best!

About the Cub Scouts

Cub Scouts provides a positive, fun, and educational environment for all boys in Grades 1 – 5.

Since 1930, the Boy Scouts of America has helped younger boys through Cub Scouting. It is a year-round family program designed for boys who are in the first grade through fifth grade (or 7, 8, 9, and 10 years of age). Parents, leaders, and organizations work together to achieve the purposes of Cub Scouting. Currently, Cub Scouting is the largest of the BSA’s three membership divisions. (The others are Boy Scouting and Venturing.)

Cub Scouting is “doing.” Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have the boys doing things. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting: citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness.

About our Pack

Pack 313 is a vibrant, fun pack. We hold events and activities throughout the school year. Events include Cub Scouting traditions like the Pinewood Derby and Blue and Gold Dinner, hikes, and events tailored to the interests of our scouts such a movie night. Pack meetings have activities for boys such as the Egg Drop Challenge and Fitness Night.

Helping others is a core value of Scouting, and Pack 313 gives back to the community in many ways. Recent community service projects include a food drive, and an annual charity drive to benefit local charities.
