The Pinewood Derby for Arlington Cub Scout Pack 313 will be held Saturday MARCH 5th 2016.  Five winners; one from each Rank will move on to the District PWD Race, please see the District Rules and Regulations which also apply to the Pack 313 race.

IF YOUR SCOUT HAS NOT RECEIVED A PWD KIT PLEASE CONTACT CUBMASTER MIKE HAMILTON ASAP.

The basic specifications for the racecars are printed on the instruction sheet inside all of the BSA Pinewood Derby Racecar boxes (“Official Grand Prix Pinewood Derby Kit”).

This year’s schedule will be similar to previous year’s due to the size of the pack (we have 62 scouts registered this year). The idea is to stagger the arrival and check-in process to make it more fun for all.

We are having an optional Star Wars theme for Pinewood Derby cars, scouts will vote for their favorite themed car (Not their own) to win a prize.

The Pack 313 Blue and Gold dinner is next Saturday night, 2/6, less than a week away! The evening will begin at 6:30 with a dinner of ziti,  meatballs, garlic bread as well as pot luck sides, drinks, and desserts. All family members are invited to attend. There will be entertainment!

Please DO NOT show up any earlier than 6:00 as the afternoon service will be letting out just prior.

Pack 313 will be providing the pasta and meatballs prepared by some of our scouts and leaders; we ask each family to contribute to the pot luck. The Pack will supply the plates, silverware, etc.
